V. Early

Valerie Early is a registered dietitian, licensed dietitian nutritionist, registered pharmacy technician, a certified advanced health and fitness specialist and a Reiki Master. Valerie received her BS degree in Food and Nutrition Science from The Florida State University. She completed her Medical Nutrition Therapy Internship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. She has been certified by the American Council on Exercise, and served as the Director of The Natural Health Center. Currently, she counsels people on the importance of preventative nutrition, sports nutrition and nutrition and hormonal balancing at her private practice in Schaumburg: Nutrition, Connection, Balance, LLC.
Valerie has been a facilitator of Seek the Frontier, an organization for medical providers of complementary and alternative therapies and a member of HAHA, a holistic alliance that reaches out to consumers. She has been featured in Fitness magazine, The Daily Herald, The Chicago Tribune, and writes monthly articles for Northwest Chicago Women, Nutrition Wellness, and Goality Fitness newsletter and numerous other publications and web sites. She has been a member of American Dietetic Association since 1993. She has been recognized for her accurate and practical work in health and nutrition in the Sunday Magazine of the Chicago Tribune. Valerie also co-hosted three radio shows on “Ageless for Life” and has appeared as guest on many other radio programs. She has received the Soaring Spirit Award in 2007 and 2008 for her volunteer and leadership abilities. She has worked with wrestling and soccer teams as well as other competitors that run marathons, do bodybuilding shows and iron man competitions.
Valerie has released an audio CD on balancing Men and Women’s hormones, a topic she has specialized in since July 2002. She is currently working her first book, due to be released this winter, Eight Ways to Lose Your Blubber”.
Valerie is personally and professionally passionate about nutrition, exercise, and alternative forms of healing and relaxation. Valerie is also a sought after motivational speaker. Valerie presented at a National Conference on Premature Ovarian Failure on the topic of nutrition and bio-identical hormones and has been asked to speak at over 150 seminars since 2007.
Valerie has also received specialized training from her family life. Being a mother on two boys, she has honed her motivational and multi-tasking skills while training and competing in two natural bodybuilding contests and three marathons. She can’t wait to meet you!
